Behavior Management Goals – Understanding that behavior is a way of communicating, and that each person’s behavior reflects his or her own life experiences, we carefully consider the function of a person’s problematic behavior before trying to address it. Once we understand the purpose of the behavior, we endeavor to assist the person to replace problematic ways of communicating with functional and adaptive ways of behaving.
